Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO

The Rolling Stones-Undercover Side Front Side SQ*

Daryl Hall + John Oates-H2O Side A

Elton John-Captain Fantastic And The Brown Dirt Cowboy Side 1

Felix Mendelssohn-Herbert von Karajan(DG 2530 416) Side 1 SQ Audiophile

The Who-It's Hard Side 1

Little Feat-The Last Record Album Side 1 SQ*

Richie Cole-Pure Imagination(CJ 314) Side 1 SQ Audiophile

Jeff Beck With The Jan Hammer Group-Live Side 1 SQ Audiophile

All 8 recordings have not been previously played. With 3 Audiophile and 2 SQ*(near miss) make for an above average SQ night. H20 had the weakest SQ but still solid with top level content. Hate to give CJ another SQ crown but they usually get it right(George Horn). Beck/Hammer a great "Live" 1970's recording that's in my top 25.

Carol Kidd - Carol Kidd (Aloi 1984)

Jane Morgan With The Troubadors - All The Way (London 1958 mono)

Peggy Lee - At Basin Street East ( Capitol 1961)

John Cale - The Academy In Peril (Edsel 1986)

@noromance:

20 years on and still going. I’ve been absent for about 15 of those. Left because of the toxic environment created by malcontents that seem to be gone now.
