Select tracks from: Prince-The Vault, Led Zeppelin-Houses of the Holy, John Coltrane-Ballads, Smashing Pumpkins-Siamese Dream, The Rolling Stones-Let it Bleed, The Police-Zenyatta Mondatta.

A buddy was over for two hour a listening session. It was only the second time I fired up the rig since returning from AXPONA. The Houses of the Holy shootout between my Presswell double RL copy against the Monarch double RL I bought at AXPONA was satisfying. The Monarch was juicier than the Presswell.

Looking forward to another session tonight!

Right now it's Pink Floyd The Wall. America was the previous album. Not sure what's next or if I'll be done for the evening?

Just got done with Rickie Lee Jones - Pirates. Sonics on that album are incredible! Next up: Traffic - John Barleycorn Must Die.

CSN&Y Deja Vu. I hadn't listened to this one in a long time, well before the amp and speaker upgrade. I still had a memory of how it sounded so when I heard it, it was like I was listening to someone else's system! Very pleasantly surprised! Great soundstage and dynamics. I've got a new rock reference album again!
Bob James/Earl Klugh One On One, Two Of A Kind, Bill Evans Sunday At The Village Vanguard.
