Arlo Guthrie recently announced that he's "gone fishing", so I've been listening to his early LPs
Mammithguy54,

I have heard from a few people that the remasters are good. I’ll let you know if my experience is any better than yours.

I’m guessing you are the same age as I am.
Btw, I just bought the 2-LP sets of the Jimmy Page remasters of Zoso and Houses of the Holy.
I have all the Led Zeppelin LPs except for the last two.
Slaw: you are about to get jealous.

I still have my original press of Grievous Angel. I have a couple more presses. Near mint. I have almost the entire Gram Parsons catalogue.

I saw Gram Parsons with Emmylou Harris and the Fallen Angels at Upstairs at Max’s Kansas City in the spring of ... 1974 if memory serves. Six sets over three of the five days he performed there. On the middle day, second set, he brought his friends onstage: Linda Rondstat and Dave Mason.

I was sitting in the front row each night. A friend worked the tables downstairs in the restaurant and got me in for free through the backstage door early. The front row was practically in the performers laps. I was no more than 6 to 8 feet from all the action.

I saw a lot of great shows there. Those were the days. Long gone. 😢
This has gotta be a candidate for the Guinness book of Records world’s longest thread.
