Vladimir Horowitz performs Rach 3. Recorded live at Carnegies Hall.  RCA Red Seal  1978

Bought this used several years back.  Looks like it was never played---until now.

Is it improper thread etiquette to post "what's on your turntable this morning"?

John Williams complete works of Bach for Lute.  Guitar and coffee are always a good way to begin the day.

@sbank

You inspired me to pull out my Trick of the Tail LP.  Dare I say it sounds better than the CD?

Dang that is a great album.  In retrospect, I can't ever recall my parents asking me to "turn it down."  Remarkable.  As I recall it sounded pretty darn good on my Altec Santana II's.  I'm smiling as I type.

@tomic601   Thanks for the kind comment.  I am fortunate to have four systems in my home.  My LP system is a headphone based rig.  Somewhat modest but satisfying none the less when my wife is asleep.  It's a bit of a rush to listen to the LP's of my youth.  They sound so good.

OK. Now I see how this thread has so many posts.

Moved on to Ambosa.  Great Album.

Neil Diamond, "The Jazz Singer"

Headphones on, singing along.  Glad I can't hear how poorly I sing.
