Yes the original US pressing.  I have the entire vinyl remastered box set, but still prefer this pressing of Love Over Gold
We will give the Scheu a proper New Orleans funeral when the time comes... then send it off for a rebuild ;)
Bruckner #3, The Concertgebouw Orchestra,  Bernard Haitink Conducting.
Phillips Holland
Santana - Welcome

One of my favorites for setting SRA by ear...  if you get the side one cymbals and percussion to sound correct you are done.  A lot of material to employ and it will reward you when it’s right.   20 hours on the new Madake and I think it has a even more to offer with a few more hours.  I guess I will have to suffer through it ;)
Love the Heifetz Brahms with Reiner.  Was on my finger tips this evening but decided to go mono...
Stavinsky Petronuchka Ansermet conducting L’Orchestre de la Suisse Romande    Decca Sound Mono
Mick Taylor - Mick Taylor

Gil Evans - New Bottle Old Wine

Duke Ellington and Johnny Hodges - Back to Back

Many friends still living in Lakewood.  Spent my misdirected childhood in Rocky River.  My parents subscribed to the Orchestra most of their lives including great shows at what is still my favorite location for any concert - Blossom Music Center. To many great memories.
Bruckner Symphony No.3  George Szell, Cleveland Orchestra
@bkeske
Outstanding Recording. Attended many concerts at Severence Hall with Szell conducting in early 70s with the family.  Appreciate them more in retrospect than I probably did at the time.
Hendrix in the West  Polydor UK 1972
@uberwaltz

Before you open it up do some continuity checks with the center of the five pins to either the ground wire or the external rca shield. See how it was wired or if there is an open circuit.
@uberwaltz
One cable has an incomplete ground connection. It is not important for some reason on one tonearm but the other, well hearing is believing...
The Purpleheart has been the most difficult cartridge to set up I have owned.  The stylus is set under it far enough that you cannot directly visualize it from the front on a protractor.  After I worked by mirror reflection to achieve the Löfgren B DIN alignment it challenged me on setting it SRA.  Now that it’s right (I think) I am rather stunned by the smooth tape like presentation with awesome engagement it is offering.
Ormandy conducts Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto, Oistrakh, Philadelphia

Dorti conducts Dovorak Violoncello Concerto, Starker, London SO Analogue Productions Mercury reissue

Weather Report - “8:30”

Kiseki Purpleheart is now fully broken in and properly adjusted.  It is providing musical reproduction that greatly exceeds my original expectations.  Hours of smiles...

I have a Mint Protractor that I used for many years prior to purchasing the SmarTractor I currently employ. Using the Mint, compared to my previous alignment gages, revealed I was close in my setup but the last bit of precision provided an audible improvement to my ears. Yip makes each one custom to an individual turntable/tonearm combination. Mine were for Origin Live table and tonearm. He will require some input including the diameter of the spindle so it is a tight fit.  He included a magnification glass at 3x and offered an additional loop at 10x. Opt for the additional purchase of the 10x.  Yip was very attentive and communicative so I would assume, if he is still in business, things are a little difficult in Hong Kong. Worth pursuing unless you want something to work on multiple tables then look at the SmarTractor. Send a PM and I can give you some addition insight on both those options.

@uberwaltz

Is it time to refresh your memories on that tracking?  Maybe we should try the Windfeld Ti on your TT for a proper comparison.

“Just ordered the OL Cartridge Enabler.”

Look forward to your review. I have been on the fence about acquiring two since my TT and tonearms are OL, but lazy about remounting both cartridges and doing my slightly insane setup process again...
