What speakers are you using with Luxman class A?

I am using tannoy legacy ardens with my 550 ax2.... Superb

Nice full sound with 15" driver 

Very happily listening to a 595a through Trenner and Friedl’s Suns.

I have used my 590 AII with Harbeth SHL5’s

Is it 590AX or 590AXII? I thought the AXII was introduced to the market in 2015 or 2016?

I have the 590AXII. My dealer told me the AXII is noticeably better in sound quality than the AX.

The 590AXII drove my Wilson Watt/Puppy 8's extremely well. Don't get confused with the power rating, it's MUCH more powerful than you would think.

That 2013 comment probably referred to the model that preceded the AX. This is an old thread and that amp has been through a lot of revisions!

harbeths and top tier solid state like luxman hegel pass ayre classe etc etc have been well known well owned well enjoyed combinations for a long time, to the present...

Ha, the reason I had gone through the work of researching and compiling that list a couple years ago was to try to forecast when the AXii might be updated, as I was interested but didn’t want to buy right before an updated model was released. When the 595ASE was announced, I was hoping they’d eventually turn it into a 590something, but sounds like Lux is getting out of the class A integrated biz, if reports are accurate, which is too bad imo.

I’m driving GPA Altec 604 with a 590axII with good results. 
 

The speakers need help on the bottom end so subs are driven off the Luxman pre outs. 
 

Needless to say there is more than enough power from the Luxman.
