I like it. Looks compact, not the usual standard big box full of air, and has bluetooth and dac
What's the Best Bluetooth Streaming Receiver w Dac under $500?
In my primary system I have an Aurender n100h and Schitt Gungnir Mulitbit Dac, Primaluna amps to Martin Logan Ethos speakers - which all sounds terrific.
I'm looking to cut the budget for the streamer, dac, amp from $8,000 or so to under $500 for my ski house.
Suggestions on the best Bluetooth Receiver (50-80 watts) for Streaming with a decent dac built in for under $500?

The PS Audio Sprout might be a nice choice: http://www.psaudio.com/products/sprout/#tab-features I've not heard it but it's gotten great reviews. It's not a streamer per se but Bluetooth is built-in. You could always add a Chromecast Audio ($35) for added functionality. |
Right. This is for our ski house and the idea is to provide a one switch on setup anyone can listen to, just need to bluetooth into a receiver and play - though I'd like it to use it with Tidal too. Idea is to just have one piece of electronics hooked to some current passive speakers... so people can bluetooth from their phones, iPads, laptops or whatever without having to download an app or anything else. Are a bunch of receivers out there by Denon, Onkyo, Yamaha that might do the trick ... or others too Suggestions? |
