What's in your CDP tonight? the minority report

I enjoy vinyl and digital (lately, with recent changes, vinyl actually sounds better than digital to me), BUT given what seems an overall preference for analog/vinyl on A'gon, I'm curious what the non-vinyl "1/2" is listening to. I tried to see if this was a previously posted question. Did not seem so.

This evening for me, it's Genesis (definitive edition remaster) "A Trick of the Tail".

Today is a Moody Blues day.  Days Of Future Passed and A Question Of Balance, so far.

yesterday I replaced my 2 week new Odin 2 Gold coax with...

the Yangsane  Pure Silver, so I ordered it too. I felt it was time to replace it with the Grey Knight. AMAZING, and not even broken in. The Odin 2 Gold lacks the inner detail. speed and bass punch and expanded sound stage that the Grey Knight has in spades. HIGHLY recommended
So I was flying through CDs Patricia Barber Modern Cool, Joe Walsh The Player You Drink..., Randy Travis Heroes and Friends, Alan Parsons Project Eye in the Sky, all while watching 3 NFL games

Hello @curiousjim

I have not seen that video. Going by memory (increasingly risky these days) I think Bumpin’ is a also a track on the Live in LA album, though I’m guessing the video is a much younger Brian. Will check it out. THANKS.

I knew both his kids were performing with him...son & daughter.  Hadn't seen any videos of either though.

(haha - just saw the date in the video title. 1975)

I might have exaggerated a bit. I only have 23 Bryan

Auger albums.😁

Have you seen his daughter?

Excellent @curiousjim

Always nice to "meet" another Auger fan.   Glad you enjoyed Live in LA.  In addition to Auger's playing, the rhythm section is excellent...that's his kid on drums, by the way.  Overall SQ is pretty good too!

@ghosthouse

I’ve been a Bryan Auger fan boy for at least 50 years and one way or another, I have most of his albums. While I’m sad to say I never saw him live, the Live In LA album is fantastic! And I agree that Alex Ligertwood tries to hard, the rest of the album rocks?

Peter Gabriel - i/o

Excellent new release with two different mixes to choose from.

Blur | The Ballad of Darren

Hey ghosthouse, the two tracks from Oblivion Express were excellent.

Have a fire extinguisher at hand for this one...

Brian Auger's Oblivion Express Live in Los Angeles.

Alex Ligertwood's voice ain't my favorite thing but beyond that this is a very solid and enjoyable 2 CD listen.  Sadly out of print but available at BandCamp for download.

Two great tracks from the album on YouTube...
