What monos for revel

Conrad Johnson Classic 120   Quicksilver V4 monos...   many good high power tube amps .... 

I used a pair Revel m106 with 40 watts of tube power and they sounded great.  So unless you’ve tried it you won’t know.   Those speakers need an amp with balls which is why I recommend the above two.  Don’t know what your budget is but those are two great amps 

Best if you can demo one in your system.  I know that’s hard these days 

I was looking at an audio reaserch VT 200 also 

Check out Quicksilver.  Huge bang for the buck.  I love my Mid Monos , they have been faultless for 8 years ....   

Depending on tubes the QS V4 puts out something like 170 watts

Jeff Rowland uses Salons at his listening room. Much more musical than Krell. 

Get the Carver crimson 350s’
dont look back!

Or keep an eye for a used Sunfire  300 or 600.

The Krell doesn't cut it? What are you running for a preamp. Because Krells cut it just fine. That one in particular.. 

When was the last time it was services and what kind of a preamp are you using.. A tube preamp is probably a better choice.

What is the source, CD, TT?

Audio reaserch reference 3 preamp streaming with  a lumin t2 I have heard the same set up with different amps and it's better .I know the room makes a difference I just feel the krell isn't as musical.
