What are you streaming tonight?

As we are in the modern age of music I thought I would see how this fares.
We have threads specific for cdp and tt so why not streaming as it is a modern media.
I don't care if you stream Tidal, Deezer, Spotify, Paradise Radio or any number of internet stations.
I would like you to share your tastes and method of streaming.

I really do not know anybody but she should have no trouble selling that at all!
uber, I've had Pandora Premium for a while.  Sound quality is nothing to get excited about, I got it mainly to get rid of commercials.  I don't listen to it for "serious listening".  Its AI is good and it does a nice job of putting together stations.  Sound quality is really pretty good, I use it mostly for background music though.  You can also search for songs with Premium.
Greg
I have never stepped up for Premium as the ads do not bother me overmuch.
I have always really liked the AI and I think it does a better job of picking songs than Spotify does, at least for the Stations I have created which do include a few less mainstream artists like Spocks Beard and The Pineapple Thief.
I listened to the free version for a long time and the ads aren't overly intrusive.
Bee Gees- Tidal

Stumbled on a PBS special tonight featuring the Gibbs and it was a nice reminder that they have a significant book of songs. Listened to mostly non SNF tracks.
I loved the Amazon series, “Hiri/Haji”, and the soundtrack is a lot of fun. I manually made a playlist in Tidal. There are a lot of cool tunes. It’s very Quentin Tarantino-esque.
I watched a documentary on Kanopy last night called “Rudeboy: The Story of Trojan Records” .   Pretty good, with interviews of some of the major players and lots of great music.  Guess I know what my playlist will be today.
The Rolling Stones - Goats Head Soup, Qobuz Hi-Res.  This is one of my favorite Stones albums and it's sounding really good.  I'm not sure whether it's due to what they did in the Hi-Res mix or if it's the Schiit Bifrost 2 multibit DAC I'm trying out in my computer system, but it sounds better than I remember.  It's a deluxe version, with almost 3 hours of songs, not sure I'll make it through all of it.
On another thread someone shared a video of Joe Bonamassa. Pretty cool dude. Streaming a variety of his stuff.
I think Joe Bonamassa is a very talented guitarist.  Also check him out in the band Black Country Communion. That band has Joe,Glenn Hughes,Jason Bonham, and Derek Sherinian. Really good stuff.
AngelHeaded Hipster: The Songs of Marc Bolan & T. Rex - Various Artists, Qobuz.  I love this, one of the best tribute albums I've heard (so far).
New Order - Substance, Qobuz.  OK for background music.  I was never really into this kind of music, thought I'd check it out.  Still not into it.
Throwing Muses - Sun Racket, Qobuz.  A band that I've never checked out.  Now I wish I would have sooner.  Looks like I'll be going back through their catalog.
Greg
I streamed that yesterday and really enjoyed it.
I remember my daughter playing them but I never paid too much attention at the time.
Now it looks like I am on the same mission as yourself...lol
Lang Lang - Bach: Goldberg Variations

Qobuz Hi-Res

beautiful day, alone at the house with the dog. Perfect music for a quiet Sunday afternoon.
Found a nice album simply titled ...
15 Metal Songs... Various Artists.

Quiet Riot, Lamb of God, Korn, Coheed and Cambria etc.

Not exactly typical late night listening but exceedingly good stuff.
Hell Yeah Greg!

At last somebody else giving one of my fave British modern prog rock bands a spin.
Although it is far from their best work IMHO but still very worthy.
Enjoy this holiday weekend and stay safe
Steve Gadd Band / Steve Gadd Band / Qobuz HR

Lots of streaming for me lately. My back is pretty screwed up,and getting up to change records is kind of painful.
Uber, I don't think I would have checked them out had I not seen you mention them a couple of times.  I like them and will check out more of their work.  Enjoy your weekend!
Lovely new release from Qobuz
Emily Barker - "A Dark Murmuration of Words"  24/96
Simply beautiful.....
Emily Barker - A Dark Murmuration of Words

Qobuz Hi-Res

phcollie, thanks for the suggestion.  Loving it!

Yw, 16F4.
The balance between her voice and instruments is perfect.
Seldom do I listen to a new album straight through then hit play again and do it all over. Thoughtful well written lyrics. Nice to hear real art.
