What are you streaming tonight?

As we are in the modern age of music I thought I would see how this fares.
We have threads specific for cdp and tt so why not streaming as it is a modern media.
I don't care if you stream Tidal, Deezer, Spotify, Paradise Radio or any number of internet stations.
I would like you to share your tastes and method of streaming.

Tidal Masters

New Arrivals

I Hear You Paint Houses

Robbie Robertson

(Currently)
Sinematic ... Robbie Robertson.

Qobuz hires.

This is quite excellent!
Very impressed.
Apple Music on iMac > Jolida glass III DAC > Rogue chronus magnum > Polk signature 3.1 tl’s = Nickel Creek  “live”
So you may notice I have been streaming on Qobuz a lot recently again.
This I believe is down to Ayre.
My EX8 gets automatic updates over the internet.
Two days ago I saw the firmware had been updated.
WOW!
The streaming has took off in clarity and air.
TBH it did a similar update maybe 2 months ago and the same thing that it was the streaming aspect that had a noticeable improvement.
But this update appears to be something else.
The 24/96 albums I was listening to last night were just incredible.
Of course it could also be the new Omega Plus mats AND the extra eCards lying on ic and speaker cables......
Whatever I am having a blast and with being off this week it will continue.
Charles Bradley - Black Velvet

This might qualify as a guilty pleasure...

Nasty Cherry - Season 1
Added Sinematic ... Robbie Robertson.

without hearing it. Love RR’s music. Thanks.

Charles Bradley is also a great artist. A shame he died just as he became known.
You should really like Sinematic,I was deeply impressed last night.
Very well recorded and some great songs.
Enjoy!
Roberta Flack & Donny HathawayQoboz HiRes Studio Edition
Beautiful, poignant duets. Art rather than pop. Surprised that there was a market for music that does not appear to have a commercial intent- except perhaps for Where is the Love. Album sold a million copies. Appears that listeners back then had more sophisticated ears than today.
Fatback Band Live in TokyoTidal CD resolution
Amazing recording. Captures spirit and sound of live performance. Texture and color of all the instruments and vocals in the band jumps out in high fidelity. Interesting guitar riff and horn fills and solos. And. of course, fundamental, funky groove.

Steve Miller Band - Bingo.  Steve gets back to the electric blues and R&B.  And just discovered Samantha Fish.

Pandora
Vacation time so streaming only for five days.
Thought this was apt.....

Celestial .... Rob Halford.
Leon Bridges - Good Thing. Amazon Music. Trying to like this album but just not feeling it.

Coming Home, his previous album, is a masterpiece. Disappointed in this album.

He seemed to leave his roots and his strengths. I have no problem with him trying new stuff but I hope he finds his way back to the basics.
Love at First Sting ... Scorpions.

Qobuz hires.

Great way to start the day!
On the plane to Fayetteville NC.
@uberwaltz : "On the plane to Fayetteville NC."
Condolences.  ;-) They used to call it Fayett-nam. They still might.
Read the "50 Best Albums of 2019" article in RollingStone mag. Trying to find any gems. On Spotify, Started at # 1 - Ariana Grande and I'm up to # 5 - Vampire Weekend, not a single gem yet, IMHO. I know Springsteen's - "Western Stars" is somewhere on the list, so it won't be a skunk, but looks like very few memorable moments in 2019.

Anyone got any recommendations for any memorable music from 2019?
reubent.

I was pretty impressed with Three Chords and the truth by Van Morrison
@uberwaltz - Thanks. I'll check it out, but it didn't make the "50 best of 2019" list from RollingStone. I love me some Van.........
Melody Gardot - Live in Paris
The Who - Who  I really like this!  They sound grown up, not in a stodgy old way, but in a reflective way.
What do you think of that Melody Garrot album Greg?
And yes agreed on that Who album.
Uber, TBH I was doing a lot of stuff on my computer and didn't listen closely to the Melody Gardot album, so I was not fully involved.  Having said that, I liked what I heard.
This is my source for new music. Just a brilliant radio station. Only reason I like living in my current location since I get them on FM.

Check out the DJ lists for 2019. DJ's program their own music like back in the day.

Pulse ( live) .... Pink Floyd.

One my way back to the airport to escape and return home.... for one day!

Qobuz
Yann Tiersen - Portrait, Qobuz Hi-Res.  Never heard of him before, it came up in the New Releases as "Alternative Indie", but it's more classical with a touch of alternative?  I like it.
