What are you streaming tonight?

As we are in the modern age of music I thought I would see how this fares.
We have threads specific for cdp and tt so why not streaming as it is a modern media.
I don't care if you stream Tidal, Deezer, Spotify, Paradise Radio or any number of internet stations.
I would like you to share your tastes and method of streaming.

Great Music is great music.   I don’t think anyone would criticize someone else’s taste on this forum, as each of our tastes are so eclectic.   And that’s one of the advantages of streaming over vinyl, isn’t it...easier to get out of your box and hear new stuff.

Taylor Swift - Folklore

Qobuz Hi-Res

So there!  Her best in quite a while.  Strong hooks and deep lyrics.  And it makes you look relevant to the younger generation.
I hope I don't lose whatever Audiophile "cred" I may have had... Taylor Swift - Folklore.  Definitely outside my normal comfort zone, but she's a great songwriter and performer.  Qobuz Hi-Res
Virus ..... Haken.

Qobuz.

Maybe not the best album title in the world right now all things considered!
Stone Temple Pilots - Perdida
 - Love this on first listen. So sparse and beautiful. Released Feb 7th, 2020
Lino Nicolosi ... Billy Cobham, Stanley Jordan.

Qobuz.

Most excellent Jazz/ Fusion outing!
Christian Sands - Be Water, Qobuz Hi-Res.  This is the best thing I've heard on Qobuz in a while.
THE Art of How Not to Fall - Rebekka Bakken

It's a jazzy blues album. Interesting voice and arrangements.

I'm listening on Spotify Pro on my NAD headphones, from iPhone. Spotify setting is "Very High" which I think is 320 kbps.
A War of our Own ..... Stream of Passion.

Qobuz.

Symphonic operatic power metal.
Yes I am! A big fan. Love Spotify Premium for it's ease of use and selection. Sound quality on my main rig, using a high quality bluetooth receiver into my DAC, is good enough for my needs, and I love that it works across all of my devices.
Glad the Spotify works well for you, I believe Reubent is another big Spotify user and loves the UI as well..

I hear you on Tidal, even Pandora is more user friendly!!

Been very happy with Qobuz via Roon which is a fantastic UI but you do pay for it at $119 per year so.....

I guess I just take it for granted people know roughly what the genre is but I can see where it might be useful.

Keep on enjoying the music!

My Mac Mini has Tidal and Spotify Premium. Connected to my speakers via Schiit Modius, which makes the difference between those two quite marginal to my ears. Really brings the Spotify Premium to life...and that's what I'm now defaulting to as it's got a wider selection than Tidal (my range of music is VERY wide), has the super easy control from mobile to Mac Mini with Spotify Connect (Tidal could have similar through Roon), but most importantly, the UI of Spotify is super: I cannot even sort my Tidal playlists on the phone by recency of adding, nor can I search a song inside a playlist. Seriously!

All the other high-res this and that...all cutesy offerings. Glad they work for others. I care about ease of use and great-enough quality, which I get from Spotify. I don't have 100,000 dollar speakers which might reveal that 18th instrument in the back of the orchestra, maybe, so I'm doing fine.

End of ramble :)

Loving the music choices here, although it would be nice if people have a hint of what genre a group is in...some bands just defy a genre, which is nice. But some are hardcore noisy metal for example, which is a very specific taste.
I listened to my Spotify Discover Weekly push last night. Very disappointed this week. Not a single keeper.
Yeah me too Greg! Lol.
Hard to screw up loading a CD one handed though so no worries.
Sorry to hear about your hand Uber!  I'm listening to Black Light Collective now. My favorite of the evening so far.
Couldn't make it through Devonwho. Listening to Zombi - 2020, Qobuz. Checking out some new and different stuff.
Art Pepper & George Gables - Goin’ Home via Tidal.  Perfectly complementary match of styles between Pepper and Gables.
I remember Suzi from WAY back when in England.
She had a string of hits in the mid 70,s like Devil Gate Drive, Can the Can, 48 Crash etc.

That leather one piece........😁😁
Suzi Quatro- Suzi Quatro

Qobuz

just reading an interview with Suzi Quatro on Salon.com,for a documentary about her just released.  For those of you of a certain age...Leather Tuscadero is 70 years old.
Great stuff with The Coral.
Mersey boys with a lot of different styles over the years they have been active.
I used to work not too far from where they hail from.
Roots and Echoes - The Coral

They're an underrated band, it seems. Great musicality across the years.
Ednaswap - Wonderland Park

looking for their original version of “Torn”, Natalie Imbruglia’s big hit, and came across this album.  Wish they had been more popular.
Just discovered this group from Sweden last night but they sure kick bottom imho.

Dreamin' In A Casket ...... Hardcore Superstar.

Qobuz
