What a scam!!

Ha! The last time these were listed the bidding was at 59,000.00. What a joke! 1000.00 "Buy it Now". I laugh, shipping location changes each time they relist! When payment is due, it needs to paid to an oversee account. Beware.

It looks like someone took some very enticing audio goods and listed them at silly low instant buy prices which must  directly deposit  to the criminals account.

Some how the ad has been removed.  Coincidence, I think not!  Enjoy the night and some music!
MY GOD there are a lots of audio scams on ebay. One guy was selling Vandersteen 4's last month listed for $1000. Catch was he wanted me to send him the money paypal friends and family in England. Actually he wanted it sent Western Union at first which I laughed at. Ebay needs to police its audio sales a little better.
When buying on eBay, keep one simple rule. Pay your winning bid using PayPal backed by your credit card account, not your checking account. This way you have triple protections: eBay, PayPal, and credit card company. If you are asked to pay through bank wire or Western Union, domestic or international, cancel the deal. Bank wire and West Union are only for people you know well.
A simple test to apply: Ask anyone else if they think it's scam crunk or a slam dunk.  Query someone who's NOT an 'audio person' and has no stake in the items' 'pedigree'.

Healthy skepticism in any 'resale market' has become the order of the day.  And it's not limited to eBay or Craigs'....note the 'whines' here on AG that crop up over 'sales gone bad'.

Phils' advice is golden; pack a Good parachute.  If the seller balks, Run, don't walk.  Ripoff artistry has reached new heights, proving Barnums' observation beyond his expectations.

Spouse got took by a DTV scam....fortunately, not major money.  Didn't ask me about it until the damage was done.  If it sounds too good, it probably isn't.  If you can't grow a 'BS Meter', Don't Play.

I'd like to horse laugh the current news about Facebook accepting ads paid in Rubles during the last POTUS election cycle.  Instead, I'm just disgusted.  MHO, you're welcome to yours, and who gets to sweep up this mess, anyway? ;)
I don't sell anything over $50 on ebay anymore. ebay is too ready to side with buyers who whine about the littlest things and they rarely if ever take the side of the seller. As an ebay buyer, I always use PayPal. Haven't had any problems there.
