Wall Maggies vs. Floor Maggies

Question: does anyone know what the difference is in the ELECTRONICS between on-wall magnepans and floorstanders? Yes, obviously the wall ones come with wall brackets and the big ones come with floor stands, duh. But does anyone know if there is an important difference in the way they are tuned or otherwise wired up, and if so, what is it?

I do not believe there is any difference if you are talking about MMGs.

One critical difference is that the MGMW (wall maggies) have captured speaker wires vs. floor standers which use your own speaker wires. This hurts the sound quality potential of the MGMW. Nevertheless, I use them in my HT.
