VTA & SRA question!

Can someone please explain the difference. If I change the VTA on my tonearm , would that not change the SRA on the cartridge?
Thanks

VTA is the angle made by the record surface and a line from stylus tip to cantilever attachment.

SRA is the angle made by the stylus rake and the record surface.  Rake is the part on the stylus, a line or something approaching a line, making contact with the groove.  A spherical stylus has no rake, hence no SRA..

The critical adjustment is of the SRA.  As was said, they do move together.
