Not familiar with the scout, but I did just recently upgrade from a Prime Scout to the Prime 21 and it was a substantial upgrade. The bigger heavier platter and all the upgrades on the arm made for a more livelier sound and very quiet table and blacker backgrounds. I am happy I made the upgrade.
VPI Prime vs Scout
My dealer is telling me he likes the sound of the VPI Scout over the Prime.
Anyone have an opinion on that? It’s certainly more affordable.
