vintage Audio Research DAC2 DAC3

Used to own CD3 MkII and if its sound signature is of any indication it was relaxed, airy, detailed, slightly warm but not dark, big images, big stage.
I had it paired with ARC LS25 and Ref1 preamps into Pass X250.5 driving B&W N803. Wish I never sold that player…one of my audio mistakes…

I am not familiar with these specific DACs. But I find AI to generally get it right. But a good starting point.
