I have a DD12 and periodically snug the fasteners as well as my speakers. I think anything that vibrates in the course of operation will eventually "loosen" and need occasional re-tightening.
Velodyne sub with loose allen bolts?
I just purchased a pair of DD-15s and noticed the allen bolts on front are REALLY loose. Then I checked my old DD12 and they were in the same state. I snugged up the DD15, but thought I should confirm that these should be snug? Hopefully it has nothing to do with the suspension of the driver, or whatever.
BTW, there was a bit of cabinet vibration/noise which disappeared after tightening. In fact, that is just why I was nosing around the bolts to begin with.
