Upgrade power cable on video game console

As I was doing some research on power cables, I noticed on that the Audioquest website's description of the nrg-x2 mentions using it with video game consoles.

Just wondering if anyone has upgraded their video game console's power cable and if so, what improvements you noticed? I have a PS4 that's used for gaming and very rarely to watch a bluray.

Would the new generation consoles with higher resolution video output be more likely to see an improvement from this upgrade?

We offer a SilverSilver C7 TV Cable that has done a great job with all gaming consoles.  There are a few YouTube video's from fadetoblac  out there if you want someone else's opinion.  But I've sold a ton of these for TV's and gaming consoles for quite a few years now, and they do make a difference.

I have good power cables on all of my electronics and it makes a difference

@funkbass4   Few years back I put a better cables on my Sony TV - I didn't really notice any difference, but when my wife came home she asked "what have you done to the TV?" - I asked WHY? she said the colours were much richer and the contrast was better

I've since recommended it to friends and they agree the contrast is the biggest improvement - improved details in the darker areas, and on some TV's the colours do get brighter

I would look at Zavfino cables - if the device oyu has is two pin - you can get an adapter - they work very well

Hope that Helps - Steve

Once I get a new power cable for my node I will try it on the ps4 and see what happens.
Cullen cables are very reasonable and very good, and you can demo one and return it if it doesn’t do anything for you.
Power cords have worked on everything I've tried them on, and that's a lot of stuff! They don't seem to make quite as big a difference with video as audio, although bear in mind those two are so very different its impossible really to equate. I think a better way of comparing with video is with things like a power cord vs something like Synergistic Research ECT. Just one of those alone makes at least as big a difference as a pretty darn good power cord. (That costs a lot more.) But if you mean sound then yes you should hear as much improvement as using it on any amp, preamp, processor, CDP, etc.

I do think the higher resolution, both source and monitor, the easier it is to see. When I compared ECT with really good source material my wife said right away Wow what did you do?! The image became much more natural and almost 3D. Like greater detail and contrast but without that hard edgy look high contrast detail tends to have. Colors, not really more vivid but with smoother more natural and wider range of hues. Pretty amazing for just one ECT! But the same setup with lower res material was hard to see any difference at all.
