Unless you have a very new computer that only has type C for an output, Type A is the typical PC USB connector, but Macs have gon all in on Type C mini. Here’s an example of what I use:

Be aware that some types also have a "mini" or "micro" variety, so be sure you don’t get a "Type B mini" for the DAC end. You want the big chunky one.
