tweeter control L pad

Is no secret , that old time loudspeakers supply with L pads , as all amplifiers supply with treble and bass control. It was era Hi Fi sound. Now is High End time. Most of the amplifiers ( some exception)  no   tone control. Majority loudspeakers also , exceptions   high cost  loudspeakers got jumpers to get 1,2 or 3 db controls.    Another hand, when folk listen   some famous brands still complain -sound is too sharp or too dull, no transparent .  I decide to install in all speakers L pads,   What do you think?

Make yourself happy.

My biggest issue with adjustable L Pads is not performance but reliability. They get scratchy/noisy and subject to burn out over time.

A better approach if you can afford it and have the space is multi-position switches. The contact/wipers are much beefier, and you can use your own resistors, overrated for wattage of course.
