Transparent Speaker cable and interconnects

I have heard a few cables,

1) Taralabs
2) Nordos
3) MIT
4) Transparent
5) Shunyata Research

What is the best choice among these.Till now I like the Transparents.

Pabelson, you're quite right. That's why I always ask a lot of questions first. I want to know all there is to know about a product's design and specs. If it makes my audition list, then I listen.
Why would you assume they've gotten their act together? And how do you know that other high-end cable makers don't have similarly empty network boxes? (This isn't the first case I've heard of.) For that matter, why would anyone buy a cable with such a box WITHOUT knowing what's in it?
Fiddler, I know, I saw those pics a couple of years ago. More "humiliating" than "illuminating" I'd say!!

One can only hope they've gotten their act together since then. Nevertheless, many people who are (financially) in the Purist-V.Dynamics-Siltech-MIT Oracle league swear by the top of the line Transparents. I've not heard them in my current system.

On the other hand, I still use my old MIT 330s for secondary purposes sometimes and they're really good.
I'd suggest Stealth cables. They just blew away my Synergistic Absolute Ref. cables in every area. I'll soon upgrade to all Stealth cables, power, IC, and speaker cables. They are very natural sounding and reasonably priced. Just give them a try.
I have recently tried several different balanced ICs - top models from Fadel Art, AudioQuest, Cardas, Nordost and Transparent Reference w/MM.

Fadel Art Coherence was the best one - the most organic, natural sounding - very coherent indeed.

The close second was AQ Sky - almost as good as Fadel, but a tiny bit brighter on top and not THAT smooth. Skys are the cables I'm using right now, but I will probably switch to Fadel Coherence.

The all other cables I have tried, were more or less problematic. The Nordost was too lean in lower midrange, Cardas was simply not transparent enough, and Transparent was not harmonicly correct (which was a big surprise for me). Transparent was also twice as expensive as Fadel.
TRANSPARENT is the best power,interconnect/speaker cable I've heard. You have a very fine system. The mm models, that's the current cable is better than the previous one. All have been worth the price. They are sometimes on Audiogon. When I see a lot of a company or product on Audiogon I always wonder why. Transparent isn't seen alot.
Good listening, PH
Yes T+A is amazing for the price they offer. I heard the ARCAM, Krell and a few others also but this stuff is amazing. JM labs Divas make an exceptional combo too with it. They out perform my B&W 800's.
Yeah I have heard the T&A equipment with Transparent at my Wilson Dealer Nice Combo. Pretty amazing stuff, too bad the German's just don't know when to change the name for the US market... it's great watching women's reaction just to the name plate.

Try to go with the Newer MM Tech versions even if you have to go a step down it is really a step up from the with XL tech (you will especially notice this on the top end of your speakers.)
OK, then I'd stick with the Transparent if I were you. ESPECIALLY until you've heard them with the JM speakers -- it should be a great combo. The only others you might like just a little better (meaning they might be a little more neutral) would be Purist Audio Dominus ($$$$) or Venustas ($$) but you should try before you buy -- use the Cable Company's audition service.
My system is T+A intigrated amp, their digital decoder and the SADVD player. I am planning to buy the JM labs Diva Utopias and micro utopias. I like transparent Ultras, the configurations that I have made them more nuteral.

Listening mostely soft music.
WHY do you like the Transparents? And more important, what does your system consist of? And what kind of listening do you do most?

You can't expect a meaningful response when your question is so abstract.
