Tonearm cable cost no object

Hi, can someone suggest best DIN-RCA tonearm cable for my SME V?
My ICs and SC now are KS Elations, but there is no such cable in line.
I'm thinking about Stealth Hyperphono.
Any other suggestions?

According to their website, the Fascination, Expression, and Emotion lines offer DIN tonearm cables. Although it would be nice if they offered one in their top-rated Elation model (you should call and ask why not) but to me, the sonic synergy provided by uniform system cabling, trumps going outside the brand, even if there is nothing available in the Elation model (yet!) Buy the Emotion for now, with a written promise from KS to upgrade it free of charge to an Elation if/when one is available :--))

That said, and my not being familiar with the KS sound, there are some stunning tonearm cables out there. My short list would be:

Silver Breeze (Silver Audio) an unbelievable audio bargain!
Venustas/Dominus (Purist Audio) expensive and very expensive, respectively.
Avondale II (Siltech) outrageously expensive!
.
The Stealth is good, I've heard it in my system. Along with a Graham IC 50.

I also think you must add the Purist Audio Designs Proteus Provetus Praesto to your list. I've used the non praesto version with my former SME 20/2 IV.Vi arm. Killer companion in my opinion. And I used it with Lyra's (helicon and skala)

I think this is the best cable in purist's line for tonearm use. incredibly quiet, very transparent, extended at both ends. very linear...doesn't highlight anyone area. natural with loads of detail.

Just my 2 cents. Good luck. I think that's a great arm and cartridge combo. It deserves a great cable of your choice...
Actually, Jfrech brings up a good point and one I hadn't thought of, one of balance with the cartridge. The PAD PPP would probably sound better with the Lyra cartridges than the Stealth. The combo of Stealth Hyperphono and Lyra Helikon may be a bit bright in most systems, IMHO.
I'll go along with the two Johns---McGrogan and Frech. I have the pre Praesto Purist Proteus Provectus tonearm cable(coupled to the Dynavector XV-1S cartridge). In tandem with the Silkworm+ ic and JPS Superconductor 3 sc, it assists in providing a very well balanced, natural and musical sound.
Thank you very much for your responses!
My current VDH cable sounds too bright.
And in high frequencies has some problems when singer say "sss".
Also lowest bass is not under full control.
KS Emotion interconnects are much lower class than Elation, so I don't want to buy them. Bass is oversized and not controlled well.
And general transparency is much lower than Elation.
Jfrech, can you describe difference between Hyperphono and PPP?
Someone told me that PAD is a bit muddy in the mid bass to bass and in fact it cannot deep dive into the deep bass.
The two cables were more similar tonally than different. The difference were the purist has much better rfi rejection which may or may not be important to you. Also i felt the purist was more transparent and more natural. Just sounds more like live music.

This purist cable doesnt emphasize mid bass and definately isnt muddy. Sounds like maybe a description of a years ago purist fluid model possibly. My maxx 3's have incredible bass extension, this cable doesnt suffer ANY issues there.

Good luck
I haven't heard any of the latest Praesto revision PAD cables, but I have owned many PAD cables/cords as well as Stealth models. I would disagree with Jfrech's statement that these two manufacturer's are "more similar tonally than different". From what I have heard, they both share many qualities that I enjoy, large, 3-D soundstage, pinpoint imaging, etc. However, in my system they are very different tonally.

The Stealth offers better resolution and articulation while the PAD offers better sweetness and musical weight. With the right gear, each cable will shine, in the wrong system, the Stealth can sound bright and the PAD can sound muddy. Jfrech's system uses Wilson speakers and Lyra cartridges, which from my experiences are very resolving, a bit too much for my tastes. However, I'm sure that the PAD cables advantages will outweigh the Stealth's in his system.....the Stealth may even sound bright.
OTOH, my system uses Verity Parsifal speakers which are very sweet and musical. In my system the Stealth cables work better than the PAD, which can sound a tad muddy.

So, the ancillary components that you are using will lead you towards one over the other in your system. They are tonally very different cables IMHO. FWIW, I haven't heard the KS Elation, but the KS Emotion is closer sonically to the PAD cables that I've owned. I recommended the Purist cable to you Murataltuev, because I see that you are using a Lyra Helikon. I've owned a Helikon and found it a bit too lean for my tastes. So I thought the additional musical weight of the Purist cables would mate better with that cartridge.

Cheers,
John
Now I understand. I had Emotion in my system and they was muddy in compare with Elation.
I think Elation is very close sonically to Indra, but a bit more resolving in highs. So, looks like I prefer Stealth Hyperphono.
In general I think that resolution is most important parameter to improve, but with higher resolultion I need to care more about balance. If something wrong than it will be difficult to listen music.

BTW, John, what are you using now after Helikon?
