The verdict - Burmester 232 is worth MUCH MUCH MUCH more than its price!!!

My system:

Burmester 232  + Focal Kanta 3s + LTA Aero DAC with upgraded Ray Reserve 6SN tubes+ Wireworld Eclipse 8 cables + Axxess Interconnects

Spent in excess of $50,000 and the sound I am getting is priceless! And my system has not even broken in yet. Thanks to all folks on this forum for their invaluable input.

How much more worth is it?

How much is its price?

I know audiophility is an art using a lot of pixeldust, taste and opinions, and avoid dealing with facts. But "much much much" is not much of verifyable statement without the other parameter in the equation, price.

Much more informative would have been "much much much more worth than the 3/4 arm and full leg it costs".

If you go to the upper left of your screen and click on the little down arrow next to the word Forum... you can choose Virtual Systems. You create them under your UserID. They have made this area easy to upload photos and to identify your components. Once done, anyone can click on your ID in a thread and see your system.

I am sure they do this to keep disk space usage to a reasonable amount. Otherwise folks would be posting thousands of photos in the threads and threads would get incredibly long. So, virtual systems are one place to see your system photos. They are very easy to create... after you find the place to create them... it always take me a lot of clicking around my user ID to find the place to edit mine. This could be easier to navigate to.

Because "Meister" means "master" in English it is an easy mistake to refer to the German company as "Burmeister".  It is correctly spelled "Burmester".  I have several pieces of Burmester equipment and could not recommend his creations more highly.  He was a personal friend.

@terraplane8bob Great equipment and, by all appearances, a great company. The ability to maintain the level of excellence after his passing is a real testament to those involved with that business. Not easily done in a small business,

Love the comment about inability to read a room.    Like really…I thought there was a perceived max to the “self-aggrandizement” we sometimes catch a whiff of here…this one takes it to new heights.
