McCormack dna-750’s get hot, but not that hott!

Playing pretty loud for over an hour, ac/dc, humble pie, y&t, foghat, Motörhead, etc, they were hot, but not 180degrees.
The heat sinks were very warm,  would not say “hot” just very warm to the touch!

Not straining as, they are driving a Energy RC-70 pair at 8Ohms.
Playing just below speaker distortion, and adjusted volume with the    Recording quality, as we all know many songs/albums are in the “loud war” thing!!
Adjust the volume accordingly, as I do. I spent/hunted/listened/auditioned/bought/sold/ many an amp/preamp/ etc, to get where I am, as many of you have done!

Adjust volume accordingly, and listen, jam at a volume which is free from speaker “break up” the slight distortion in the highs will happen first,,.....keep your ears focused on the treble, as once the distortion starts, it won’t take long to fry a resistor, or capacitor in the crossover.

alcohol will push your fingers to a higher volume, just have the smarts , to keep under control.
These days, I don’t get on the volume too much, as , a volume which you need to talk louder to almost yell to speak to your friends is a wee too loud.
Damn, rambled again.
sorry.
 Have the amp checked out.

The OP, has not chimed back, so maybe he .....

nvrmind!
carry on
No not normal. Change filter caps in power supply as soon as possible unless that has already been done recently.
