Synergies in music and amp combinations?

atmosphere,thank you so much for that reminder. If there is equipment that only plays one type of music,that is the equipment I'm staying away from! 

Electronics doesn't care. The better electronics will sound better with anything and everything. Electronics can't and don't favor certain genres of music; this is one of the oldest and most persistent myths in audio.

Diana Krall sounds "in the room" via my Ayre DAC/Boulder amp /ML pre-amp
Whether she is a Porsche because she is a singer, not sure. Her recording quality is awesome. ( I have often found the Verve label to have top notch recordings)

The way she sounds thrills me like driving my Porsche even though its not a Singer ( though I would love one if I could afford it)

Know very little about schitt but from what I red her, its far from crap.

Like all genres, there is good and bad. Meant this as a tongue-in-cheek thing, not to trigger an indictment of an entire formal of music. 

Rap is Schitt. Or is it Schiit? Never could get my Schiit straight. 
Anyway, Diana Krall is a singer, and a Singer is a Porsche, so I would definitely be all over that schiit.
