I have the standard spikes for my Vandersteen Model 5 speakers. I also have carpet that is thick and high. Has any Vandersteen users found a spike that lifts these speakers higher so they clear the carpet height?
Chat w Richard he answers the phone you may want a longer 1/4 x 20 rod and extra washers the lighter speakers ( model 1 ) actually use a Hilti spike but I would NOT recommend those for Model 5 - pretty massive speaker even the 85# Treo have the 5 spikes
