What does Eggleston recommend/use at shows to demonstrate the Savoy?

I think I just wet myself. 😂 I remember at a show long ago, listening to a pair of 1.2KWs driving Mac speakers; and while the sound was outstanding - I found those monos uber-sexy. I told the dealer (forgot who) showing off the system that if I couldn't just leave with the monoblocks, he could just drop them on top of me. It's probably the larger than life signature blue meter on the front... |

Check out the Cabledyne Silver Synergy speaker cables. http://www.cabledyne.com/synergy-speaker-cables.html I’ve had them for awhile now and really like what I hear. The base response you’re looking for is there but it is not bloated or smeared, in the least. At first it will give you the impression that the base is somewhat lacking but it’s not. It’s tight, tuneful, detailed and deep, when called for. Nothing artificial, unless that it is what you want. Everything else is pretty much spot on as well with extended highs and a tightly focused soundstage that goes well beyond my speakers, when recorded that way. When funds allow, I’m going to try out their Virtuoso line of speaker cables. The Synergy SCs are a steal at the price. All the best, Nonoise |

There’s a member on this forum that if you tell him your amp, speakers and how long you need for cables has a secret formula and will tell you what you need. My guess is you need 0 gauge AWG copper cables. The brand doesn’t matter, but keep them real short, real short. Just kidding here - actually there is a post going on currently and is a good fun read. What’s your budget? |
