There's a pair of Snell Type D up on audiogon right now for $750. Great full range speaker which would be a suitable match for one of the receivers you're considering. I think you would have to upgrade components to get the most out of the Sonus Fabers.
Sonus Faber Concertos
I am looking for front speakers to go with a Denon/Yamaha or Marantz A/V receiver. I heard the Concertos and loved them but at $3500 new or $2000 used, they are a little rich for my blood. Any thoughts on other quality floor standing speakers that offer a better or good quality/price trade-off?
