Cool. You’re going to like the purist. For power cords…why audio envy? I am not familiar with their cables but just curious what’s prompted you to choose that brand for the Aurender streamer?
Some Cables Thoughts
Working on those cable suggestions you all have offered up to me in the past. I was wondering if any of you might know of a decent grade 110V power cord that has a 90-degree male connector on it? Something like this:

If not, a super flexible cable something similar the stock one that came with my Coda amp, that can turn downward asap and not to long of a connector itself, some are supe long. I need to get tight to the back wall.
As fair as speaker cables, I was thinking of a pair of these, 6 feet long with spade ends.

Do I have your blessings?
PS: No one speaks much here about XLO cables. There are these on USAM - 6ft for $600 DIY terminations, I’d just use bare wire (if I could figure it out (lol)

There is another set there as well with bananas for $800, but I prefer spade.
Thank you!
@audphile1 Another AG member recommendation. I’m backing off the DIY so I liked the fact that they offer 90 degree ends. I need 4 power cords, amp, pre-amp, Aurender and DAC. I haven’t ordered them yet, so still open to suggestions. They were just over $200 a crack. See if linkup cable is within reach and comes in thr length you need. |
Here's a few in that price range I've been looking at: https://www.thecableco.com/specials/forte-f3-powerchord.html https://wyred4sound.com/products/p-1-ultra-power?variant=28622119698506 https://silversonic.com/products/power-cables/encore/

@audphile1 I stuck with the Audio Envy 2’ power cord for the amp because I got both male and female male, in the 90° figuration. That will allow me to get the amp close-up to the wall. I looked at the Audience Forte F3 and there are a great price as you suggested, but they’re a little bit long and I don’t think for the music server, DAC, preamp, need such a heavy duty cord. The F3s are 10 AWG. I’m thinking probably a good 14 AWG cord would be sufficient for these pieces, so still on the hunt! |
