Shipping

I am planning to list and sell a pair of Merlin speakers.

I am interested in learning about the best companies to use to ship them to the buyer.

They will be shipped in the original shipping box and secured by the original packing material.

Box is about 60"x30"x18" and weighs approximately 100 lbs.

If you have experience in which shipping companies not to use that would be helpful too.

Thank you

For the best protection, ship them on a pallet via freight or a private shipper like Uship. I sold my Vandersteen 3a Sigs to someone in NC and he used Uship. It worked out well.
Also, I would invest in a strapping tool and strapping. It really keeps heavy boxes from splitting apart, and you can secure the boxes to a pallet when shipping.
PM me if you want specifics.

I sent  a pair of Von Schweikert  speakers weighing 120 pounds each boxed across the country via FedEx Ground with absolutely zero problems.  They came right to my door to pick them up.
