Schiit STJARNA tube phono preamp.

Got the email today about this unit. Went ahead and ordered one. Read the write up on Head-Fi. Quite funny. Will post impressions of the unit once received and running for a while. 
 

Anyone else ordering one? It’s around $1900 all in with taxes shipping etc….

Looks interesting. Tube only MC stage is a technical challenge.

Indeed they do. Tried the Skoll but was left underwhelmed. Didn’t dislike it, just kinda blah to my ears.
 

Currently using an Elac Alchemy PPA-2 in this setup. It is a very good unit for the price. Will see if the Schiit unit will usurp the Elac.
