I just checked their web site and they say the Freya is "in Production, Ships 7-10 days." They've been accurate concerning the availability of items I've bought in the past, so hopefully this is correct.
|
I'd recommend emailing or phoning them. |
Best to email them. They have a stated policy of responding to emails much faster than phone calls.

Did contact and they don’t know when freya will ship. They misstated time line |
That's interesting that they haven't updated their web site. They have some other products that show "backordered" with availability dates not until later in January or even February. In any case, good luck.

Similar issue here. Placed order late December expecting 7-10 day production delay. Checked in after a 10 days and was told "parts arrived, but could be 2 more weeks." Checked back 2 weeks later and now they're saying end of March. Likely going to cancel my order. |
Isn't this your third thread on this topic? |
6 weeks? What are you worried about? I’ve been waiting since October 30th. |
Site now says freya ships March 25.
because of this forum, they finally changed their website and messaging. They never admitted problems up till now. Now we all wait for delivery.
clearly they stopped shipping orders. Grossly misleading for too long |

clearly they stopped shipping orders. Grossly misleading for too long Their communication definitely isn’t the best. I’ll post here if and when I ever receive mine. Perhaps you and others will do the same just to give each other hope that one day our Freya+ will arrive. |
Emergingsoul, no, schiit audio did not change their website because of your little 3 thread crusade. I explained this in one of your other threads, they got an update on when certain parts for the Freya would arrive.
They then analyzed how long their work-in-progess(or WIP) would take to get finished Freyas to their warehouse. Another day or so for each Freya to go through their QC process and then get shipped.
Then they updated the shipping date on the Freya page. Again, if you don't like this, simply email them to cancel your order. In fact, that's exactly what I did myself, a couple of years ago. I realized that I was going to have to commit to buying one when they were back in stock, and so I did that about a year later.

Clearly, we changed the preamp world with efforts herein. Remarkable feedback served to shake up this fine company to its core. We made a difference. We are mad as hell and decided not to take it anymore. Freedom of speech facilitated our persistent efforts to prevail. |
Hope you didn't strain yourself too badly in patting yourself on the back... ;-)

Sound is awful, really bad |
Just like your nonsense... |
Don’t you want better explanations of components you pay thousands for? Marketing materials are dreadful. Demand better. |
Your complaint seems to be growing in size as time progresses.
It had been about the delivery date of the Freya, an $889 unit.
Now you are paying "thousands"?
And their "marketing materials are dreadful"?
Interesting.

Actually schiit does good with their mktg, I am speaking about higher end equip.
I wanted a high end tube pre but home theater options are not true bypass so I settled for schiit which curiously offers tru bypass. Better be good. Keep tubes off when in bypass and have a remote that controls power, tough to find both in high end preamps. Million dollars to person finding this combo. |
The OP is sounding more and more like "he who shall remain unnamed" (K#$s%*t).
An no, the OP did not make anyone do anything.
From day one, Jason has stated that Schiit is not for everyone and has wholeheartedly endorsed the idea that less-than-satisfied customers (or customers-to-be) go elsewhere. |
Kind words for kind souls. Praise be. |
