Rouge Audio Alauda XS1200DM Amplifier

I have ordered a Rouge Audio Alauda XS1200DM Amplifier which uses the Ice Edge 1200 AS1 chips used in the PS Audio M1200 monoblocks.  I would appreciate if members who have actual experience with this amp would comment on issues such as break-in time, single-ended versus balanced interconnect connections, speaker cable interactions, etc.  I am particularly curious regarding the issue of interconnects and speaker cables as Francesco at Rouge indicated that this amp sounds best with copper cabling.
