Thank you! At last, an experienced A'goner has chimed in on the 30dB gain Bellari vis-a-vis 2.5mV output HOMCs! That's good to know because I use and like a Denon DL-160 w/2.2mV output, and the Bellari *might* have been an enticing next step without additional information.

Looks like the Bellari would be a great match with the new Ortofon 2M series, which--according to a review I read--puts out a whopping 7mV.

I use the Jolida JD9 with my 10x5. Tons of gain and probably find a deal here on the gon.......

I used the 10x5 with 39db of gain and I had to turn it up a bit to equal the output of my digital player. IIRC, the Bellari has 30db of gain so that might be a little on the low side. Maybe someone who has had experience with this particular preamp can chime in.
