Rick Derringer was one of those unique "did everything with everyone " musicians.

Like others I saw him with the Winter Brothers. Went to Day on the Green in Oakland, Rick Derringer , Judas Priest , Led Zepplin. It was the Saturday show , and Priest had yet to release British Steel. It was the day Peter Grants people beat up the security staff. I have always appreciated people like Rick Derringer , and Ronny Montrose for their love of music over commercial greatness. Cheers , Mike B.
