I just purchased this Rega turntable used,.. and it spins backward. When turned off and then back on quickly it corrects itself. Has anyone else experienced this problem, and if so, what to do to remedy . Thank you
With ac synchronous motors (not sure if rega uses them or not), you can wire them for CW or CCW rotation. If the motor was replaced, it could have been wired incorrectly
Check soldering joints around motor board; Inspect/replace capacitor(s) in the motor board. some of the records have reverse tracks such as original Pink Floyd "The Wall" on US Harvest.
