Yes line out to RxR.... then when the music begins to start push record on your RxR.

I passed on the C2600 because it did not have a tape loop ...

Tape loops seem to have mostly fallen out of fashion along with the tape decks that made them useful. Let’s face it - there’s not much reason today to need a real tape monitor because it’s hard for most of us to justify recording to tape.

My tape decks get very little use these days and I can’t even remember the last time I recorded to tape. Still, I miss tape loops, too.

I passed on the C2600 because it did not have a tape loop.  The C2500 I bought is the last of the series to offer the tape loop.

Connect the 2600’s "fixed output" to the tape deck’s line in. The deck’s line out can go to any of the preamp’s line inputs. (’m pretty sure the 2600 doesn’t have an actual tape monitor.)
