You’re welcome. What you want is Townshend Pods. Get them sized for the weight of your CDP. Not only will this end your skips, it will produce a very impressive improvement in sound quality.
If Pods are too rich then drop down to Nobsound springs. These will also eliminate the skips and improve sound quality, just not nearly as much.
