Received my Denafrips Venus 15th

@fthompson251   Thanks for responding.  I’m sure your recommendation would sound great.  But that is more than I was hoping to spend (I also would benefit from a couple REL subs).  
 

Would your suggested set up be better than a Gaia/Pontus 15th combination?  The Gaia would have the OCXO clock and together would cost similar to a Venus 15th alone.  
 

Are there any rumors about Denafrips upgrading their DDCs to 15th anniversary models like they did with their DACs?  

@sealegs   Any answer to that would be pure speculation on my part. I only suggested the Hermes because with AES/EBU into Venus 15th the Transport clock would take president. There is a big difference between the Pontus 15th and the Venus 15th. It's possible if you get the Gaia then it may match up better because of the clock in the Gaia being better than the Pontus.
