R CHANNEL DEAD, CLICKING SOUND INSIDE AMPLIFIER

Hello,

My Symphonic Line RG1 MK3's right channel sporadically turns on and off by itself accompanied by a clicking sound inside the amplifier. The left channel is fine. Any idea on what's causing this? I will try to fix the problem by myself. Trying to avoid the long wait and expense of sending the amplifier to Germany for repair. Your input and suggestions will be highly appreciated. Also, check your right channel speaker cables, make sure the hot and cold leads don't touch each other either at the amp or at the speaker end.

Just in case, test your preamp by swapping the interconnect cables left for right at the input of the amplifier.

If its the preamp the problem will move.

If not, there is something that is tripping the speaker protection relay, meaning the amp needs service.

Did you check your preamp? It looks like you have volume control problem
