Preamps with digital output

I have a cocktail audio piece that is a digital recorder in 6 digital formats hi res. It has a 4 th hard drive and a CD ripper player and burner in it. I need a preamp with a digital out as well as digital in to hook the piece in a loop so when I play records etc the music goes in and is recorded on the hard drive and when I want to play it it goes back to the preamp and sent from the sac to the amp to be missed to

Sound like you're wiring up a 60's phone junction cabinet. 

I think you are making it much harder than necessary.

Seen all digital signals to your DAC.  DAC to Preamp or integrated.  Integrated to your speakers.

Tone control? Just because you like it doesn't mean it was asked for.

I've never seen a device with those features and begs the question why?

What are you trying to accomplish? I’m wondering why you would want a DO from a preamp? 

I have already looked at McIntosh and non have a digital output

Mcintosh If I'm reading you right. They have tone control they are a full blown preamp. They have a way to bypass the tone control. Some have onboard DACs, HT or a processor loop or bypass. MM and MC phono stage. Balanced or single ended. Digital in and out? Maybe.. Plenty of ins and outs for sure..

I don't use half the crap, but I sure got it..
