Plants for Humidity

Anyone here ever use plants to control the static in their vinyl room?
jsman
..they are good for the acoustics of the room as well. Artificial plants are nearly useless.
They suck it up, so get a humidifier and the plants and room itself will appreciate it.
I have since learned that plants will not do the trick, so the search is on for a humidifier.
You are right. Plants need humidity, they do not make it, but if you've got a lot of plants that use a lot of water the water does evaporate and help humidify the room. I'd be very careful about using a garden variety humidifier, too much humidity may not be good for your electronic's. Rust immediatly comes to mind. FWIW.
