Nuprime CD Transport. Any experience?

It seems kind of pricey.  I had a NuPrime Headphone Amp that died after two days, fortunately still under warranty, but that scared me off the company.  Cambridge Audio would be my choice

Thanks, I have a Audiolab 6000CDST which is fine but I really want something with more output choices than SPDIF. 

I own a CDT-8 Pro and a CDT-10. I bought the CDT-8 first and liked what it did enough to move up the line. I haven't compared them to other CDTs, so I'm unable to tell you how they compare. I do like both of them. The CDT-10 is in the same system as my Nuprime Evolution STA amp. 

When I buy Nuprime gear, I contact John Casler (on Audio Circle) who is a Nuprime dealer. 

I have a cdt-10 which is generally quite good but I have 2 (new) Sony Essential Classics cds that it won't play (no disc).  The manual says the discs are the wrong format. Any Thoughts?

Are the new Sony discs hybrid SACDs?  Some CD-only players won’t read some of them. My EAR Acute player had a hybrid disc it wouldn’t read and I solved it by copying it to a blank CD. Happens sometimes. 

My CDT10 has an SRC feature.  Is there any way to get it to play a hybrid cd? The disc is marked ADD but not SACD or any other markings.
