2. The biggest issue that I have read about (and have unpleasantly experienced) is their selling technique. As Rgd mentioned, their method is...

"You'll be offered a deal if you take them today - they'll advice you that the Rep just happens to be in the store and they have arm barred him to flog the stock at ridiculous prices. Hmmm.... the rep will probably look the sales guy thats always been there..."

It got even shadier when they physically got closer and started to speak in hushed whispers that they were willing to give 60% off the MSRP. It gave me the chills.

I WONDER WHY PEOPLE ARE SO CONCERNED ABOUT SPECS AND RUMORS WHEN IT COMES TO NUANCE SPEAKERS. JUST LISTEN TO THE WAY THEY SOUND, SPATIAL SOUND OR NO SPATIAL SOUND, THEY ARE PRETTY GOOD. AND IF U REALLY LOOK INTO IT, THEY SELL WAY MORE SYSTEMS THEN BOSE.

SEEMS LIKE LOTS OF PPL HAVE OPINIONS ON THE SPEAKER BRAND. THAT JUST MEANS THE BRAND HAS CAUSED A LOT OF ATTENTION. FORGET ADVERTISEMENT!!

TRUST YOUR JUDGEMENT FOR ONCE WHEN IT COMES TO SPEAKER PURCHASE. EVERYONE HAS DIFFERENT PREFERENCES TO HEARING. NO ONE HOLDS A GUN TO UR HEAD WHEN U BUY. NUANCE REPS LUVS TO DEAL...SO USE IT TO UR OWN ADVANTAGE!

Nuance may be one of the largest scam on speakers and only sullies the good Canadian name when it comes to speaker manufacturers. Try and ask for a few specs - you'll get the stand pat answer is that the lack of brochues, advertising and specification sheets only adds to value of Nuance speakers - they don't add in those costs so you get a better deal- YEA RIGHT...

Now obviously this info only applies to retail outfits that carry these speakers and wohldn;'t apply to your friend but ask him about how he came about buying them.
