Nuance may be one of the largest scam on speakers and only sullies the good Canadian name when it comes to speaker manufacturers. Try and ask for a few specs - you'll get the stand pat answer is that the lack of brochues, advertising and specification sheets only adds to value of Nuance speakers - they don't add in those costs so you get a better deal- YEA RIGHT...
You'll be offered a deal if you take them today - they'll advice you that the Rep just happens to be in the store and they have arm barred him to flog the stock at ridiculous prices. Hmmm.... the rep will probably look the sales guy thats always been there... Now obviously this info only applies to retail outfits that carry these speakers and wohldn;'t apply to your friend but ask him about how he came about buying them.
You can check out the multiple "reviews" over at Audioreview.com about Nuance products.
Ever heard of the white van cruising around offering great deals - well its my opinion that this outfit is about 1 step up from the van people - at least you get to hear them before you buy them and surpisingly people still buy them...
