Naim is impeccable stff I would not be at all afraid of the sound you will get from the cd player. But as far as it matching with Krell if you like the Krell sound you will be feeding it a very neutral and transparent sound form the Naim. It should be a good match. If you don't already own the Krell look at Linn or Naim. They are matches made in audio heaven.
