Good stuff, indeed.
Good stuff, indeed.
My most recent, long-term, go-to music...
Guitar players.... As a player myself, I get a kick out of these videos of players sitting in with this guy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4AfgksocEQo watch Georges chord choices all over the fretboard https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZz9UFqNPxk "Stevie" is on another level |
Thank you! Keeps me sane!

roxy544,011 posts04-23-2021 9:10pmI got "These Days" in mint condition at Goodwill for $.99 last year. That's quite the bargain! It's a timeless collection, and a deep sampling of his talent. The duets with the ladies are awesome...especially with Diana Krall. |
Vince, Amy and Will.Beautiful. Thanks for that. I have Guitar Slinger. |
Vince, Amy and Will. Nice while it lasted. https://www.al.com/entertainment/2012/03/vince_gill_will_owsley_montgom.html |
"Live At The Sands, Frank Sinatra with The Count Basie Orchestra".I have that on DVD...I've been to a few Vince Gill concerts, and he was what prompted me to see the Eagles for the first time a couple years ago at The Forum in Los Angeles. He, alone, has more Grammys than the entire Eagles combined. I think his vocal range makes Timothy B. Schmidt a bit intimidated. There's a YouTube of him doing an impromptu sit-in with an Eagles tribute band, singing "I Can't Tell You Why" reading the lyrics from a cheat sheet...and just tearing it up. Amazing singer and guitar player. He's good friends with that guy named Chet Atkins. Great stuff...Thanks!! |
"Live At The Sands, Frank Sinatra with The Count Basie Orchestra". edgewood- Check out Frank and the Count on this, if you don’t have it already. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/It_Might_as_Well_Be_Swing Martini time. Vince Gill is a guitar player. He can let loose if he wants to. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QbwkIkq3N8k That's how a Telecaster is played! |
