Musical Fidelity / B&W bad match?

Hello all,
I am in the market for a new integrated amplifier. I’m looking at a few different older musical fidelity models, such as the A3.2, A3.5, A308. I read a few reviews which said the MF gear is a bad match for B&W speakers. I currently have both P6 and 804N’s. I need to go with an integrated due to space constraints. I was considering a plinius 8150 as well. Any shared experiences with these combos would be greatly appreciated.
thanks!

Gotta disagree with whatever you were reading.

MF and B&W match up well.

I’ve heard these paired successfully at various audio shows with impressive results.

And I had my own B&Ws matched to a MF A5 integrated for many years; great combo.
Generally speaking both MF and BW on brighter side of neutral, so depends what your preferences are.  Some would love that combo.  Would be too much for me.

That's not my experience with the A3 and similar amps. I'm thinking it would be a good match up. Worth a try at least and I could switch cables to get the final tuning.
whether they match well or not is a matter of perspective, taste and other points of reference

but most would say that b&w and mf sound characters are both clear, transparent, fast, somewhat forward, cooler side of the spectrum
