Most recent concert

Went to an amazing concert last night.  Searched the topic and the threads I saw didn’t match so starting a new discussion.  What was your most recent concert?

I Saw the Experience Hendrix show at Lynn Auditorium which is near Boston.  An all-star lineup of musicians playing Jimi Hendrix songs.  They had a group of 15 musicians playing in different combinations.  Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Eric Johnson, Zakk Wylde, Marcus King, Devon Allman, Ally Venable and others shredded for over 2 1/2 hours.  Highly recommend if you can catch the tour.  Next Up is Robin Trower this summer still touring at 80.

Living close to Orlando Florida & being yearly pass holders for Disney/Epcot we are able to watch mini concerts every weekend in the summer. Kinda outdoors but top covered stage & a good portion of the seated area. We see a lot of bands that are past their prime but will play a few hits they are most known for.

I'm down for watching any good musician play live instruments..so I'll watch any band. The one concert that stuck out to me last year was one that I don't even remember the name of..kinda a bluesy latin thing with a killer female vocalist. They put on a show. This year we have people like Don Felder, ELO, Flock of Seagulls, Pointer Sisters, 38 Special, & a lot more I would have to look up.

I honestly feel like it's the no-name bands (to me anyway) that always put the extra effort & energy into the music. Last big full concert I went to was Ed Shereen..with that band that wrote Chasing Cars opening for him. Snow Patrol, that's it. The Ed tickets I got for free & he is actually very good Live. I also went to a Blues concert last year..about 4 hours worth of musicians & bands I'd never heard of. About 2 hours of it was good.
